New Technology and Business:
New Technology is making a major impact on business more now than ever. The correlation to the e-conomy has consumers shopping around and comparing prices.
The new E*Businesses such as: Amazon, E bay, E*Trade and Google, are examples of how Companies are changing their Marketing Strategies and Developing with the newer "Social Media's' " rather than fighting them.
These Popular Web sites are a small part of what is called the E*Commerce. ¹There was a survey done in 2006 showing that new technology was changing how the public shops. The survey statistics concluded that 63% of Canadians are internet users, 44% have broadband access at home, 81% of internet users shop online and 56% actually buy online, but only 38% of businesses have a Website address.
These numbers are increasing steadily as well.
The internet, as a new competitive place to market your business, has shown owners a high yield in their Return On Investments'.
Most consumers research purchases, find store locations and even comment on purchases through online web sites. Businesses can gain a competitive edge by exploiting their resources online. It broadens a businesses’ market from being local to World Wide.
